My Training

About my training...

I was not “self-taught”, I attended a paid comprehensive certified training course that covered both theory as well as practical hands-on curriculum.

I have extensive training and experience in applying classic and volume lash extensions. I studied safety and sanitation procedures and pay the utmost attention to cleanliness. I studied the care of lash extensions, proper handling and placement of implements and eye shapes. The course I took is endorsed by the Alberta Government.

Why I started this business...

I discovered Lash Extensions nearly four years ago when a friend of mine introduced me to a woman that provided mobile service. I instantly fell in love with them, however I found that my own natural lashes were falling out at an alarming rate and no one could explain why. I eventually changed to another person that provided lash extension service. I then experienced irritated and itchy eyes all of the time. I was determined to know why because I loved the lash extensions, but not the side effects.

I learned that many issues are attributed to poor hygienic practices, cheap lash extension materials, and low grade lash glue. After some research, I soon realized that this was mainly due to technicians that had taught themselves and were not practicing proper hygienic practices or that were not trained on how to properly and safely apply lash extensions. It was then that I decided to learn properly by taking a Alberta Government endorsed course.

To my surprise...

There are many people that attempt to offer lash services with little or no training at all. Your eyes are probably the most sensitive organ in your body, yet many people are willing to let unqualified people use them for practice"....and the results can be horrifying and costly. Please do some homework and ask questions before you allow someone to apply lash extensions. Ask to see pictures of their work. Ask to see testimonials. Do they appear to be running a business or is it just a hobby? It's your right to know.

Other Peoples Work

Unfortunately I DO NOT offer fills on other technicians work. I have experienced far too many issues with lashes that are a clumpy mess, applied incorrectly, improper lengths and curls etc. I take great pride in my work and I cannot guarantee work with lash sets that were not applied by me.

If you wish to have me remove the old lashes an apply a new set I would be happy to. I will not charge to remove the old set which would normally cost you $40.00. If booking a new set please let me know that you wish me to take the old set off.

My Fill Work

Fills that are requested after four weeks will be determined by the amount of lashes remaining when you arrive for your appointment. If there is less then 30% you will need a FULL set, If I feel that there is enough remaining, I will do a fill.

If proper care is taken to prevent your lash extensions from becoming damaged thus falling off prematurely you may only need a fill at 4 to 5 weeks.
